An Economic Single-Channel Mass Flow Controller (MFC) is a compact, cost-effective gas regulation device designed for precise measurement and closed-loop control of a single process gas stream in laboratory, benchtop R&D, and light industrial applications. Unlike multi-channel process skids or high-vacuum semiconductor-grade MFCs (such as those from Brooks or Horiba), economic units prioritize essential thermal mass flow sensing, standard accuracy, and straightforward analog/digital communication at a lower price point.
The main application fields are: (1) Tube Furnaces & CVD/ALD Systems: Controlled introduction of carrier gases (Ar, N2) or reactive gases (H2, CH4, O2) during nanomaterial synthesis and sintering. (2) Electrochemical & Fuel Cell Testing: Supplying pure fuel and oxidizer streams (e.g., H2, CO2, Air) to SOFC, PEMFC, or gas-diffusion electrode test fixtures. (3) Catalysis & Gas Phase Reactions: Precise metering into fixed-bed microreactors and mass spectrometers. (4) Glovebox / Purging Systems: Regulating inert gas makeup flow.
