Al(OTf)3 (Aluminum Triflate) is an electrolyte salt that is primarily utilized in the development of Aluminum-Ion Batteries (AIBs). The primary function of Al(OTf)3 is to serve as a conductive medium that allows the reversible transport of Al3+ ions between the anode and the cathode during charging and discharging, as well as its features of high ionic conductivity, wide electrochemical window, and high quality of SEI Formation.
