Carbon cloth with gas diffusion layer (specifically the W1S1011 series) serves as a critical bridge between the macroscopic hardware (bipolar plates/current collectors) and the microscopic reaction sites (catalyst layers). Both the microporous layer (MPL) and PTFE layer are coated on the surface of carbon cloth, which provides excellent gas diffusion capability without "flooding" issue.
