Pairing the high voltage LRMO (Li1.2Ni0.13Co0.13Mn0.54O2) cathode with a Cu/C (carbon-coated on copper current collector ) in a dry pouch cell architecture represents an ultra-high-energy-density configuration for advanced lithium-ion batteries. This design leverages the extreme capacity of lithium-rich layered oxides operating up to 4.8-5.0 V vs. Li/Li+ while maximizing volumetric efficiency through a lithium metal or Cu-backed anode.
