The Ni0.9Co0.1(OH)2 is obtained by co-precipitation method, which can be mixed with lithium salts (eg: LiOH) to synthesize the LNCO cathode powder. The precursor reacts with the lithium source at temperatures typically between 750-850 degrees to form the final layered oxide cathode material.
