NaPF6 (Sodium Hexafluorophosphate) is the most widely used electrolyte salt in commercial sodium-ion batteries (SIBs). The primary function of NaPF6 is to serve as a conductive medium that allows the reversible transport of Na+ ions between the anode and the cathode during charging and discharging, as well as its features of high ionic conductivity, wide electrochemical window, and high quality of SEI Formation.
