Zn(OTf)2 (Zinc Triflate , also named Zinc trifluoromethanesulfonate) is an electrolyte salt that is primarily utilized in the development of Zinc-Ion Batteries (ZIBs) and specific aqueous-based battery systems. The primary function of Zn(OTf)2 is to serve as a conductive medium that allows the reversible transport of Zn2+ ions between the anode and the cathode during charging and discharging, as well as its features of high ionic conductivity, wide electrochemical window, and high quality of SEI Formation.
