An Integrated Automatic Cold Isostatic Press (Integrated Automatic CIP) brings together the best of both worlds: the extreme density uniformity of isostatic pressing, the effortless precision of electronic PLC automation, and a clean, self-contained footprint. Unlike modular setups where you have a separate hand pump, hydraulic hoses, and an external vessel, an integrated automatic CIP houses the electric motor, hydraulic pump, high-pressure vessel, and digital touchscreen controls within a single, highly refined tabletop chassis.
In an integrated automatic system, human error is completely removed from the pressurization cycle. The entire pressing process is handled via closed-loop software control: (1) Programming the Profile: The operator inputs the target pressure (e.g., 300 MPa), the ramp-up rate, the dwell time (e.g., 120 seconds), and the decompression curve. (2) Motorized Stroke: A highly accurate brushless DC servo motor drives an internal mechanical ram. (3) Real-Time Feedback: An integrated pressure transducer continuously reads the pressure inside the liquid vessel, feeding data back to the PLC to keep the target pressure perfectly steady. (4) Solenoid Decompression: At the end of the run, a proportional electronic solenoid valve slowly releases the pressure back to atmospheric levels based on the programmed rate.
Operation Procedures
(1) Load the powder into the rubber module and sell it well.
(2) Put the rubber module into the CIP die.
(3) Seal the CIP die and tighten the gas release valve.
(4) Rotate the pressing rod down and touch the CIP die surface. Close the safety door and tighten the hydraulic oil valve.
(5) Set the pressure on touch screen and start the pressurization to the target value.
(6) After pressure retention for certain time, rotate the oil valve to release the pressure.
(7) Open the safety door and loose the pressure screw on the CIP die.
(8) Screw the top pressing die and take it out from the CIP.
(9) Take the rubber module out from the CIP die.
(10) Take the processing sample out from the rubber module.
