A High-Throughput (HT) Milling Jar is engineered to transform a standard laboratory ball mill from a batch processor into a combinatorial screening platform. Instead of milling a single massive formulation per station, these highly specialized assemblies segment the available physical volume into multiple isolated chambers, allowing researchers to run 4 to 16+ distinct compositions concurrently under identical kinetic conditions. This hardware is heavily relied upon in automated laboratories, pharmaceutical screening, and battery material research (e.g., matching cathode stoichiometry or optimizing solid-state electrolyte dopants).

The options of milling jar materials are shown below:

(1) Zirconia (ZrO2): Zirconia is the most popular choice for lithium-ion battery R&D (NCM, LFP, Graphite).

(2) Alumina (Al2O3): Alumina is often used for the materials science side of your work, particularly for SOFC/SOEC components.

(3) Stainless Steel (SUS304/316): SS is a standard and economical option, but cross-contamination is a big risk for battery material milling.

(4) Agate (Natural Quartz): It is featured as "Zero Metallic Contamination" since Agate is a natural, non-metallic material preferred for ultra-pure chemical synthesis.

(5) Tungsten Carbide (WC): It is normally used when maximum impact energy is required.
