A four-shaft planetary vacuum mixer—specifically configured with two mixing (stirring) shafts and two dispersing shafts—is the gold standard for achieving sub-micron particle distribution and bubble-free homogeneity. In this setup, the mixing shafts handle the bulk movement and "folding" of the paste, while the high-speed dispersing shafts provide the intense shear required to break down conductive additive agglomerates (like CNTs or Carbon Black).

It is a precise laboratory unit designed for complex slurry preparation. It utilizes a rotation + revolution method where all four shafts revolve around the tank while spinning on their own axes, ensuring zero "dead zones." (1) Dispersion Power: Two high-speed shafts reaching 0–3800 RPM for aggressive particle size reduction. (2) Stirring Efficiency: Two low-speed twist blades (2–112 RPM) move the bulk material from the walls to the dispersers. (3) Integrated Cooling: Includes a 9L water chiller to counteract the heat generated by the high-speed shafts, protecting sensitive binders like PVDF. (4) Safety: PLC control with an observation window to monitor slurry consistency in real-time
