HA-PBA (Phenylboronic Acid-functionalized Hyaluronic Acid) is a key polymer building block for creating smart, stimuli-responsive hydrogels. Because phenylboronic acid reversibly forms dynamic covalent ester bonds with cis-diol-containing molecules (such as sugars, polyvinyl alcohol, or catechol derivatives), HA-PBA hydrogels exhibit exceptional self-healing, injectability, and responsiveness to environments like glucose or reactive oxygen species (ROS).

Hydrogel Preparation Steps

(1). 2% HA-PBA solution preparation: Weigh 0.02 g HA-PBA powder and dissolve it in 1 mL PBS under ultrasonic assistance for 1-4 h.

(2) 3% PVA solution preparation: Weigh 0.03 g PVA powder and dissolve it in 1 mL PBS. Heat it up to 50°C until the mixture becomes clear (1- 4 h).

(3) Take 400 uL 2% HA-PBA solution and slowly add the 200 uL 3% PVA solution under stirring. The hydrogel will form under vibration.

Package Size 1 g/bottle

Notes: Please try to store the HA-PBA powder in a dry place.
