Add-Ons
LAP (Lithium phenyl-2,4,6-trimethylbenzoylphosphinate) is a highly efficient, water-soluble Type I photoinitiator (C16H16LiO3P or similar salt structure) widely utilized in advanced energy storage research for the UV-curing of aqueous Gel Polymer Electrolytes (GPEs), hydrogel electrolytes, and water-processed solid polymer systems. By absorbing near-UV or violet light, LAP rapidly generates free radicals to initiate the polymerization of vinyl-bearing monomers and macromers directly within aqueous or eco-friendly electrolyte environments.
