A 2-in-1 (multifunctional) tape casting coater is designed to support both doctor blade and wire rod coating methods on a single machine. This versatility is perfect for labs that need to switch between high-viscosity battery pastes and ultra-thin, low-viscosity functional coatings.

(2) Wire Rod (ESMAWRW200)
The maximum coating width for the wire rod (D=10mm) is 200 mm (other coating widths also can be supplied upon request).

The wire groove diameter (determine the coating width, not the physical rod diameter): 6 um, 8 um, 10 um, 12 um, 15 um, 20 um, 25 um, 30 um, 40 um, 50 um, 60 um, 80 um, 100 um, 150 um, and 200 um are available. Only
- Theoretically the dry coating thickness T = 0.5 * (wire groove diameter) * (transfer coefficient) * (solid-state content); Normally the transfer coefficient is in 0.5-0.7 and we will choose 0.6 as a typical value.
