The electrolytic copper foils have been demonstrated as excellent battery anode current collector due to its good electrochemical stability and high conductivity. It acts as a mechanical substrate for the anode material (typically graphite or silicon) and a conductive path for electrons to exit the battery during discharge. Double-side matte Cu foils are suitable for double-side coating due to its high adhesion with coating material compared to shiny one.
