Swagelok cell testing is a specialized laboratory technique used to evaluate battery materials (anodes, cathodes, and electrolytes) in a controlled, air-tight environment. Named after the gas tubing fittings used to construct the cell body, these cells are a "standard" in research because they provide a high-pressure, reproducible geometry that is easy to assemble and disassemble in a glovebox.
