A high-throughput 6-well parallel batch reactor sits at the sweet spot between micro-scale screening (96-well plates) and full pilot-scale batch production. It provides six distinct, reaction-ready vessels within a single compact footprint, allowing researchers to gather statistically rigorous kinetic and optimization data in a single run.
The 6-well system has the design configuration of integrated 6-Position Block Systems (Screening Focused): (1) Vessel Volumetrics: 10 mL to 50 mL working volumes per well. (2) Heating/Cooling: A single high-thermal-conductivity block (aluminum or copper) housing all six wells. Heating is usually uniform across all positions to guarantee identical baseline thermal conditions. (3) Agitation: Multi-position magnetic drive array beneath the block driving magnetic stir bars or glass-encased cross-bars in each vessel. This unique system is suitable for fast catalyst screening, solvent switching studies, and rapid stoichiometry mapping.
