High-throughput parallel-type batch reactors are multi-vessel reaction platforms designed to run numerous small- to medium-scale batch chemistry experiments simultaneously under independently or collectively controlled conditions.  By shifting from traditional single-vessel sequential testing to multi-channel parallel synthesis, these platforms accelerate chemical R&D, catalyst screening, reaction optimization, and process development by factors of 10× to 100×.

High-throughput parallel batch systems combine modular hardware and automated liquid/gas delivery to deliver high data fidelity on a small laboratory footprint: (1) Array / Vessel Configurations: Systems range from compact micro-well blocks (8, 16, 24, or 96 positions in standard 96-well microplate formats) for rapid screening up to benchtop assemblies of 4 to 12 larger pressure vessels (10 mL to 2 L each) for scale-down reaction kinetics and process optimization. (2) Independent vs. Zoned Parameter ControlThermal Management: Heating/cooling is delivered via integrated aluminum/copper heating blocks or fluid-circulating jackets. Systems either apply uniform temperatures across the entire block or feature individual zone heating to screen thermal gradients. Pressure Control: Manifolds can charge all reactors uniformly (common in gas-liquid reactions like hydrogenation) or split individual gas lines with dedicated back-pressure regulators for variable-pressure screening. (3) Agitation Mechanism: Depending on viscosity and scale, agitation is driven by either multi-position magnetic stirrers (high throughput, small volume) or individual direct-drive overhead mechanical stirrers (higher viscosity, precise torque tracking). (4) Materials of Construction: Reactor bodies and liners are fabricated from high-corrosion-resistant materials like 316L Stainless Steel, Hastelloy (C-276/C-22), Inconel, Titanium, or specialized PTFE/borosilicate glass inserts.

  • HMI touch screen for parameter setting and display, 30 programmable segments and equipped with pressure/temperature thermocouple, RS485 communication port for computer connection.

  • High Pressure (standard version): 20 MPa for 25, 50, and100 mL. 10 MPa for 300 and 500 mL. A higher pressure up to 35 MPa can be customized and supplied upon request.

Mechanical Shaft Stirring Type
  • Mechanical Stirring, 100 W, 100-1200 rpm, clockwise/anticlockwise rotation 
  • Couple Torque: 25/50/100 mL: 40N.cm, 300/500 mL: 60 N.cm
  • Stirring Blade: the standard version is propelled paddle type, which is suitable for 200-1500 rpm and low viscosity fluid (<200cps). The other options of turbo type (≥100mL, 200-1500 rpm, medium viscosity fluid <1000cps) and anchor type (>50mL, 50-500 rpm, high viscosity fluid of 5000-50000cps).
