Add-Ons
A Modular Steam Generator (operating up to ≤400°C) is an advanced, compact thermal system engineered to provide precise, on-demand high-temperature steam (including superheated steam) for laboratory research, pilot plants, and specialized industrial or chemical processing.
The main design features of the modular steam generator are: (1) Modular Architecture: Built on a skid-mounted or scalable framework, allowing individual heating or vaporization modules to be added, swapped, or paralleled to scale steam output without changing the core infrastructure. (2) High-Temperature Superheating (Up to 400°C): Unlike standard saturated steam generators that cap out near 100°C–200°C, a high-temperature modular unit incorporates an integrated secondary superheater stage to elevate steam enthalpy, preventing condensation and delivering dry vapor at temperatures reaching 400°C. (3) Rapid Startup & Forced Circulation: Utilizing low-water-content coiled heat exchangers or micro-tubular flow paths, these units can generate steam from a cold start within minutes, ensuring energy efficiency and responsive load-following. (4) Materials of Construction: Wetted paths and pressure vessels are typically fabricated from high-grade corrosion-resistant alloys (such as Stainless Steel 316L or Inconel) to withstand aggressive water chemistry, high pressures, and high-temperature oxidation.
